I am a tenor drummer with
the Oregon State Defense Force Pipeband and have
been a member of the band for about a year now. David White, a
co-worker of my husband asked me to join because they were looking for
enthusiastic people to join the band and it was something that looked
interesting. My love of the pipes and drums started back in college
when the Oregon State Defense Force Pipeband played
at the community College for a Scottish Heritage Festival. They all
looked so impressive in their uniforms. I was already hooked on
Scottish genealogy and Scottish pipe music furthered my desire to learn more. |
